- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 1/2 cup of finely chopped onion
- 3/4 lb of ground beef
- 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
- salt to taste (if necessary)
- fresh oregano
- 1 box of spaghetti (dry)
Cooking supplies
- Burner or stove
- Sauce pan
- Frying pan
- Large pot
Directions
- In a frying pan, brown 3/4 lbs of beef with 2 tbsp of olive oil (set to the side when finished)
- In a sauce pan add the remaining olive oil, garlic, pepper and onions (cook for 5 minutes or until fragrent)
- Add the can of tomatoes to the sauce pan
- Season with salt, pepper and oregano and let simmer
- add ground beef
- In a separate pot prepare the spaghetti according to the directions on the box
- Serve sauce on top of the prepared spaghetti
